WA Beach Clean-Up 2019

Scarborough Beach

The Western Australian Beach Clean-Up coordinated by Tangaroa Blue, encourages members of the public, community groups, schools, corporate groups and others to take part by organising a clean-up at their favourite section of our beautiful coastline. Clean-ups can also extend to estuaries and inland rivers, streams and other waterways as all water will eventually flow to the sea taking with it whatever rubbish it contains.

Tangaroa Blue

This year, Keep Australia Beautiful WA (KAB WA) will be carrying out our WA Beach Clean-Up at Scarborough Beach, near Brighton Reserve, on Sunday, 20 October from 9am – 11am.

Come along and join us in caring for this wonderful stretch of coastline. KAB WA will provide resources including tongs, buckets, bags, gloves and insurance to all participants. Don’t forget to bring your reusable cup for a free after clean-up coffee.
A litter audit of what we collect on the day will be conducted and the data submitted to the Australian Marine Debris Database.
