‘BIN IT. You know it’s the right thing to do’ is Keep Australia Beautiful WA’s overarching message, encouraging people to dispose of their rubbish correctly.
Keep Australia Beautiful is running a competition asking for school-aged students to write, direct and edit a 15- second stop-motion animation promoting the BIN IT slogan, which can be posted to Facebook.
- Read through the Guide for details on how to create your animation.
- Print this Ideas Mind Map to assist with brainstorming story ideas around setting, characters and materials. Where will the story take place? Who are the characters in the story? What materials will be used to create the characters and setting?
- Print at least two copies of the Storyboard to plan the look and actions of the story.
- Download the final stop motion slide and the ‘BIN IT. You know it’s the right thing to do’ logos. Both of these logos must be included in the animation.
The competition opens on 20 July 2020 and closes on 25 September 2020, with judges announcing two winners on 2 October 2020.
Winners will have their animation posted to the Keep Australia Beautiful WA Facebook page and will also receive a $100 EFTPOS card sponsored by Mars Wrigley.
