Keep Australia Beautiful Week 2017

kab week

Keep Australia Beautiful Week 21-27 August is a time to raise awareness about the simple things we can all do in our daily lives to reduce our impact on the environment and encourage action to reduce litter.

We encourage all Western Australians to consider how they can participate in KAB Week and be role models for their families, friends and communities.

Easy ways to participate...

Do something:

  • Clean up kidsOrganise a clean-up  your neighbourhood or quick tidy up in your street. Register your clean up and get free clean-up bags.
  • Be part of the #LitterRally. Take the pledge to pick up  one piece of rubbish every day of the week.
  • Less waste = less litter. Reduce your impact in KAB Week and look for ways to rethink your purchases and refuse single-use items , reduce, reuse and recycle.
  • Register as a Litter Reporter and report littering when you see it. Litterers can receive a $200 fine.
