Roadside signage

A range of roadside sign templates are available to address: littering, illegal dumping and unsecured loads.

To use any of the roadside signs displayed below, you will need:

  1. Approval from either Main Roads WA (when using on highways and regional distributor roads) or your Local Government (for all other roads).
  2. A print ready PDF of the sign artwork, for supply to your local sign manufacturer. This is can be obtained by emailing kabc@kabc.wa.gov.au with a request outlining the ones you wish you use.

Note: these are templates only and may need to be modified by a graphic designer to suit your local requirements. This might include the addition of your organisation’s logo or a local phone number.

Signage is best used as part of an integrated program: one that coordinates educational, infrastructure and enforcement activities and elements. Keep Australia Beautiful WA coordinates a range of programs and initiatives aimed at reducing litter in Western Australia. For assistance with developing an anti-litter program in your community, call our Community Education Coordinator on (08) 6467 5339 and view other resources available here.

Download the KAB Roadside signage guidelines that provides a general overview of the most effective way to use roadside signage in your litter prevention program.
